History

1972

Founded in 1972 in Pompano Beach, Florida, originally operating as NRI Service and Supply. Initially operated as a service-only business, laying the foundation for a strong commitment to customer service.

1996

Joey Batchelor purchased the company from its founders. With a new vision, the company was renamed Guardian Fueling Technologies.

2008

Guardian was awarded the Gilbarco Veeder-Root product lines. Guardian had branch locations in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami, Ft. Myers, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Pensacola.

2017

Initiated a series of acquisitions and greenfield office openings. Expanded across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, adding branches in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Virginia.

2024

Further expanded into the Central U.S., opening branches in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Louisiana.

Today, Guardian is one of the nation’s most reputable providers of fueling equipment, fuel system construction, and value-added services.
